I've spent more than two decades working on both sides of media pitches. As a journalist for outlets like The Hollywood Reporter and CNN, and a communications director for brands like Red Bull, I saw firsthand how many pitches missed the mark.
Journalists are inundated with hundreds of useless pitches a day while brands with real stories rarely reach the right person at the right moment. The system was broken on both sides.
